Benchmark Geophysical Consulting Limited is committed to the wellbeing of all persons involved or affected by projects we are engaged in and the omission of damage to the environment of those operations. The company and its personnel will do their best to follow and, to the extent of their influence, promote best industry knowledge of good practice
DRUGS & ALCOHOL POLICY
Benchmark Geophysical Consulting Limited firmly believes that drugs and alcohol in the workplace is inappropriate and dangerous. Benchmark require that consultants abstain from any such activities while on assignment except for approved social activities that are clearly out of the field and work environment; are not during recognised hours of engagement, and are not likely to affect or influence such activities. Field crews, land, transition or marine; are not considered locations where social drinking would be acceptable.
While on assignment consultants will observe client and contractor policies and requirements in this regard and comply with any requests to submit to random, post incident or good reason requests for drug and alcohol testing. At no time will consultants allow another policy to compromise their behaviour with regard to Benchmark policy.
DRIVING POLICY
Benchmark Geophysical Consulting Limited firmly believes that drinking and driving is an unacceptable hazard, that the wearing of seatbelts reduces the risk of serious injury, and that consideration for other road users and observation of speed limits will reduce road accidents. Consultants will comply with and promote this attitude.
SMOKING POLICY
Benchmark Geophysical Consulting Limited firmly believes that the inhalation of the products of smoking through passive smoking is harmful to health and supports legislation and guidance that seeks to restrict the effects of smoking to those who voluntarily indulge. We also believe that smoking itself is harmful to health and will not encourage or support the practice. Company office facilities do not permit smoking and consultants are required to support and promote this attitude.
