COMPANY & CONSULTANTS SOFTWARE POLICY

Benchmark Geophysical Consulting Limited is committed to providing quality service without compromise to client or contractor management systems or technical solutions. We recognise our obligation to manage our affairs in a responsible manner that is consistent with those we work with.

Software and processes used in connection with any project should be safe and pose no threat of harm to the systems that we interface with or use. To that end Benchmark require that:

·         Company computers and associated systems including access to the internet are used responsibly with legal and correctly licensed applications.
·         Consultant portable computer equipment and associated systems including access to the internet are used responsibly with legal and correctly licensed applications.
·         Company computers and consultant portable computer systems are protected by valid and current anti virus system including subscription to regular update of virus profile data.
·         Consultants in the field will have available programme files in such a manner to facilitate reconstitution of a machine, or application to a replacement machine with minimum interruption to their duties in case of hardware failure or software corruption.
·         Regular periodic back-up of data and appropriate programme files will be made to a suitable external device at a frequency that will provide for minimum interruption of business and duties.
